  The weather was pretty nice in San Jose.  A little chilly in the
     morning, then mid 70's all of a sudden.  Our refrigerator of
     a tent turned into an oven.  The winds all kick up at the end of
     the day, but luckily they didn't blow much during the day.

         I believe it is Rock week...

  The Big Brother Finale was pretty tame.  I thought it was funny
     that Natalie got along with everyone in the jury house
     except Matt.  I guess Ryan didn't know how much everyone
     in the house (and America) hates his girlfriend, Jen.

         Another week of her chattiness, although somebody

      Big Brother 9:  I'm two episodes behind, but I am so happy
         that Natalie will not win!  The shock on her face was
         priceless.  Just like the look on her face when she
         discovers America finds her irritating!

  TiVo:  American Idol:  A shocker as Michael Johns is eliminated!
         He had to feel pretty safe with two girls up there with him.
      Big Brother 9:  James is evicted and it was probably time for
         him to go as the house was really starting to wear on him.
         I'm glad to see him leave the house with dignity, not
         like his girlfriend, Chelsea.  Is it me, or is this game the same
         every year.  The people who call themselves the 'good'
         people in the house aren't perceived that way by the viewers.
         I know CBS and their editing have a lot to do with that.

         This season is going to get good when the irritating side
         of the house turns on one another!

  TiVo:  American Idol:  Rumor of a booted singer returning.
       Big Brother:  I think Natalie thinks that people like her...
          Matt had to go because he was lying to everyone and
          bullying everyone.  I hope Chelsea stays this week.
       Lost:  A great twist bringing Michael, err... Kevin back.
          It feels like the series is going to end this year, but
          we still have two seasons to go after this one.
          Next new episode is April 24th???

  TiVo:  American Idol:  Inside Edition's favorite stripper, err...
         contestant got eliminated.  They could've eliminated all
         three of them to speed up the season.
      Big Brother 9:  I was disappointed that America voted Alex
         back in the house, although he and Parker deserved it
         more since they had psycho partners.  But think of the chaos
         that would've ensued if one of the psychos went back in!
         It didn't matter anyways, as I was happy to see James go
         back in.  I am rooting for Chelsea, although it probably
         would've been better if James didn't come back.  Matty is
         very scary with his 'in-your-face' attitude.  Sheila is even
         scarier as her personality changes day to day...

February 21st

• Website problems!
  We are currently having some problems with Yahoo! changing
  some things in our account.  I'm working on fixing some things,
  (which explains the Feb 2001 home page that appeared this week.)
  as they want me to use Front Page 2000 or 2003.  Not the new
  2007 version as that one doesn't work... 
  
  President's Day weekend.  Spent it (and my money) in Vegas.
     Holiday weekend wasn't very crowded.  The Cal/Fremont/Main
     Street had a Valentine's Day promotion where you get a free
     stuffed animal with chocolate if you get 2500 points in one day.
     That's a lot of points and with not many people at the casino,
     they extended the promotion through President's day weekend.
     Then they lowered the point total to 1500 in one day.  And then,
     when we left, they extended it another week!

February 15th

      Tom Brady's total passing yards will be odd, (wrong!)
      Tom Petty will end his set with Free Falling, (wrong!)
      First beer commerical during halftime:  Coors Light (wrong!)
      Tom Brady will be the MVP, (wrong!)
      and Jordin Sparks national anthem will be under 2:30. (right!)
  TiVo:  writer's strike is almost over!
      I have hours of Lost to go through now...
      It was neat watching last year's finale over again with
      all the pop up info!

      The Giants have an advantage having already played the Pats
      in week 17.  They played them tough and could've beat them,
      and they won't be awed by the undefeated Pats.
      However, if you give Belichick two weeks to prepare for a team,
      and it's a team they just played, he will gameplan a victory.
      My choice would be Pats -12 (they should cover easily)
      Other predictions, heads (coin flip), under 53 1/2 points,
